Terms of service

⚠ Template. These terms reflect how the business is described on this site, but they have not been reviewed by an attorney. Have counsel check them before publishing — the damage and warranty sections in particular carry real liability.

Quotes

Online quotes are based on turf square footage measured from aerial imagery, or on the figure you enter yourself. They're good for 30 days. If conditions on site differ materially from the measurement — a fenced section we couldn't see, rock where the imagery showed grass, an unreachable back yard — we'll tell you the corrected price before starting, not after. You can decline at that point at no cost.

Scheduling

Dates are confirmed by phone or email, not by submitting a form. Weather moves this work constantly: we don't aerate frozen or saturated ground, and we don't seed into a heat wave. If we push your date we'll tell you the same day. You can cancel or reschedule at any time up to 24 hours before.

Access and site preparation

Before we arrive, please:

• Mark or tell us about sprinkler heads, invisible fence wire, shallow cable, and septic components.
• Unlock gates or leave a code, and keep dogs inside.
• Clear toys, hoses, furniture, and pet waste from the lawn.

We flag what we can find, but we can't see buried lines. We're not responsible for damage to unmarked irrigation, wiring, or other shallow buried items. If we can't safely access the property we'll reschedule rather than guess.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Card, check, or cash. Pricing starts at the 3,000-sq-ft tier for each service or package. Returned checks and chargebacks are billed the bank's fee.

What we guarantee

We guarantee the work: correct depth, complete coverage, clean up after ourselves, and we come back and redo anything we did wrong at no charge.

We cannot guarantee germination. Seed depends almost entirely on watering, and we don't control your irrigation. We'll give you a written schedule; follow it and results are reliable. If you follow it and the lawn still doesn't take, call us — we'll come look, and we've been known to reseed for free when it's warranted.

Damage

We're licensed and insured, and we'll provide a certificate on request. If we break something, tell us within 7 days and we'll make it right. Aeration normally leaves soil plugs on the surface and marks in the turf for a couple of weeks — that's the service working, not damage.

Bulk material and rentals

Bulk material is non-returnable once dumped. You're responsible for providing a truck-accessible drop location; we're not liable for driveway marks from a loaded truck or from material left sitting. Rental equipment is your responsibility from drop-off to pickup, including damage beyond normal wear. The deposit is refunded after inspection.

Cancellation

Cancel any time before the crew is dispatched at no charge. Mowing is a standing schedule with no contract — a week's notice to stop is appreciated so we can adjust the route.

Limits

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
